Led Zeppelin Robbed!


On This Date in 1973: Led Zeppelin lost $180,000 in cash when a thief stole their hotel safe deposit box from two concerts at Madison Square Garden. The theft – a crime largely suspected to be an inside job perpetrated by employees of the hotel – was never solved.

    I always had my suspicions that Peter Grant had had one of the Zep road crew vanish the money so they could get it out of the country and back into UK without paying taxes…love a good conspiracy theory…best wishes…MAC
