On This Date in 1979: The movie Rock ‘N’ Roll High School, starring The Ramones along with PJ Soles, Vincent Van Patten , Mary Woronov and Paul Bartel premiered in Los Angeles. Rock ‘N’ Roll High School, which is one of my favorite rock movie musicals ever, is a part of Shout Factory‘s Roger Corman Cult Classics series, being reissued on DVD in May 2010. Yay!

Geoffrey went down to Houston Street today to check on famous street artist Shepard Fairey’s latest mural and guess who he met? Shepard Fucking Fairey! Me = Jealous!
What does it say about my life’s degree of happening-ness that the high point of my day so far has been discovering these color-changing light-up drink coasters that you can buy online? Guys, seriously, if you aren’t at least recycling your cans and bottles at this point, I don’t even want to know you. Just go ahead and un-friend yourself from my FaceBook page right now. I’ll wait.
