Images of this rare “Parrot Flower” (Latin name Impatiens Psittacina) are currently circulating in the kinds of (often suspect) emails that tend to “make the rounds.” Although there has been some speculation that the Parrot Flower is a hoax and that this image has been photoshopped, it is actually a real flower – and quite a lovely one at that.
