I watched today’s episode about new ways kids are doing drugs these days. I found it ironic that the show comes on around the time that kids are getting home from school and, to me, it was like a how-to show on new ways to get high. I am a 30 year old woman and when I saw one of the doctors give full instruction on how to make a Vodka Inhaler with dry ice I was like – wow! That’s kinda cool! Maybe if I just did a little bit of that – I would be able to get drunk without the effects of drinking on my stomach. I mean seriously! Was it necessary to show exactly HOW to do it? It was like watching a how-to video. LOL. And then they had the guy call in on the air who they had just shown bonging a 5th of vodka. I thought he was going to tell how sick he had gotten, but instead they have him on the air talking about how he drank more than just that and he was FINE! And he “does it all the time” and nothing bad happens. What was the point of that?? I mean I sure didn’t learn any lesson from that… Seriously?

When I was a youngster in Calif USA (1960s) my grandparents send us a Whirly Gig. Four kids maximum, or two sitting across from each other, could ride a ground based device approx. 10 feet across, movable hand bars and foot pumps, counter moving but connected to the hand bars, help propel the device around and around. Ha,ha,ha,ha! Hilarious! I miss all the fun stuff living in Australia. Wonder if we can get this absurdity on satellite??
